He Found 16 Cars Parked on His Property so He Came Up With a Genius Plan To Teach Them All a Lesson

A man recently posted a revenge story on Reddit after he came home to find 16 cars parked on his private property.

This guy owns two apartment buildings in the suburbs of Chicago. He and his family live in a few apartments; some were vacant, and the rest were rented out.

The street doesn’t have much room for parking, but the property surrounding the apartment blocks does. In fact, it has room for around 16 cars.

This is, of course, private property belonging to the owner, and you’d need a permit to park here.

One day, the man returned home to find a car parked right in front of his house. Not only was this a nuisance, but the vehicle had also destroyed some of the nearby bushes.

The man recognized the car, knowing it belonged to a neighbor down the road. Annoyed, he called the tow company, who towed the car away. Afterward, he put up no-parking signs all around the apartment block to avoid future incidents.

And it worked. He had no issues for almost an entire year, but then New Year’s Eve came around.

The man had been at work all day and came home to find 16 cars on his property. Seething, he tried calling the tow truck company, but they couldn’t get out to the apartment for another few hours as it was New Year’s Eve.

The man wasn’t going to wait that long, so he took matters into his own hands and devised a genius plan.

As it just so happened, the temperature was well below zero, as it often is in December in the Chicago suburbs.

So the man decided to run warm water through the sprinklers in his garden. He also dug out a hose and ran water through that, covering the ground and the cars with water. He even sprayed the car locks, the grills, and in-between windows and seals.

Then he returned to his apartment, smiled to himself, and let mother nature do the rest.

When he came out to check his handiwork a few hours later, he saw walls of ice surrounding the cars. Every square inch of the driveway was encased in ice.

Even if the car owners wanted to leave, they couldn’t. Their cars were trapped in an ice prison.

Around 4.00 am, the man was woken up by an angry knock on the door. The party was over, and the revelers wanted to go home.

But the man just shrugged his shoulders and smiled. Those cars were going nowhere – and neither were their owners.

The situation started to escalate, and eventually, the cops arrived. The car owners told the cops that their friend had said it was OK to park on the man’s property. It turns out this ‘friend’ was the same neighbor who destroyed the bushes a year back.

There was nothing the cops could do but issue tickets to all the car owners as they were parked on private property. Furthermore, the tow truck arrived, and since no one could get into the vehicles, the truck towed all the cars away, one by one.

Does the apartment owner have any regrets about what he did? Just the one; he wished he’d filmed it all!

What do you think? Did the guy go too far?
