She Blocked His Friend in With Her Car, so He Got Her Evicted – And Got Paid $150 To Do It

A man took to Reddit recently to tell how he ended up with a cool $150 in his back pocket while a rude woman in his complex cost herself her apartment. This all happened because of a fallen tree and because the woman stubbornly refused to move her car.

The situation unfolded like this.

The man lived in a small complex with his wife. It was her birthday. Not surprisingly, she wanted to go out and celebrate. She invited a friend to join them for the evening, and the friend arrived at the complex so that they could all leave together.

That’s where the problem started. A tree had fallen over in the parking lot, blocking some available parking spaces. When the friend arrived, she could only park in one of two accessible parking spots. She asked if it was ok if she parked there, and the guy said that it was okay because she was displaying a valid handicap tag on her car. In any case, there was still a free accessible parking spot, and only one person in the complex was known to use one of those spots.

All was fine so far, but when the man, his wife, and the friend set off for their night out, the man noticed something odd. The woman who normally parked in the accessible parking spot had returned to the complex, but instead of taking the other available spot, she had parked directly behind the friend’s car, blocking her in.

Before they left, the man got hold of the apartment complex manager and asked him if he could make sure the woman moved her car later.

The three of them went out, forgetting the whole thing.

But it wasn’t to last. When the three of them returned from the club at 3 am, The woman’s car was still parked behind the friend, and the other disabled spot was empty. So, he had no other choice but to call the cops.

A cop showed up, took one look at the way the woman had parked, and started laughing. “Why didn’t she just park in the next spot,” the cop said. The guy said he didn’t know, so the cop said, “Well, let’s go wake her up and ask.” It was 3.30 am.

The cop banged on the door the way cops do, and when the woman opened up, he told her to move the car. He wasn’t expecting the answer he got.

The woman yelled at him, “That’s MY spot, and I’m teaching someone a lesson.”

The cop told her straight up that it wasn’t her spot, that there was an empty spot available, and that she was to move the car immediately. She did. She never spoke to our guy again.

But the story doesn’t end there. It turns out that the woman also yelled at the apartment manager when he had initially asked her to move her car. He had had enough of her since she was behind with her rent anyway. He started eviction proceedings and paid the neighbor $150 to take the woman’s boxed-up belongings down to the building’s basement.

What do you think about the man’s story? Do you think he was right to call the cops? Did he deserve the money, and did the woman deserve to get evicted?
