Her Mom Accused Her Adopted Kids of Being ‘Gold Diggers’, so She Kicked Her Out of the House

A woman recently kicked her mom out of her house for suggesting that her adopted children were thieves.

Here is what she had to say.

The now 34-year-old woman has never really gotten along with her mother.

She was always told by her mother that she was not good enough, though her brother was raised like a golden child.

Due to this, the woman moved to live with her father, stepmother, and half-siblings and built up a good life for herself because of this.

She makes her money through good investments and an online business she has set up.

Her mother and father are both very proud of her for her achievements, though her mother still feels her daughter should go back to university.

One of the woman’s investments was a nice house in another country, where she eventually moved.

“I couldn’t be happier because that’s where I met my now husband. His parents are my neighbors,” she said.

She was introduced to her now-37-year-old husband by his parents, as they both love photography.

The woman’s in-laws and family get on exceptionally well, except for her mother, who thinks she should have married someone from her country.

In fact, she has suggested several times that the woman move back home as they rarely get to see each other.

The woman and her husband have always known they wanted to adopt, and three years ago, they welcomed three boys into their family.

The three are biological brothers, aged five, eight, and 11.

The woman and her husband’s family took them in, and they even spent two weeks at her own parent’s house in the summer.

Not long ago, the woman’s mother came for a week-long visit, and she simply wouldn’t stop telling the children what to do and what not to do.

“For example, all of them have chores, even if it is just helping with setting up the table or feeding the cats,” the woman said.

“She made a lot of comments about how the parents should do all that stuff. She even tried to get into my son’s rooms to clean them up or move the furniture around.”

She and her husband both feel that their children’s rooms are their children’s responsibility. They do not enter them without permission and only help them clean up if they are asked to.

They respect their children’s privacy, so each child has locks and keys for their rooms, which they keep tidy themselves.

When the woman saw her mother enter her son’s room, she explained she wasn’t allowed to do so and that the son wouldn’t be happy about it.

The mother simply brushed the woman off. She was then caught in his room just hours later!

The woman then asked her mother why she couldn’t respect the rules set in her home or her way of parenting.

What was going on?

And that’s when her mother told her that for as long as “these filthy gold diggers” live with her, she has every right to ensure they are not stealing or just using her daughter and her husband because they adopted them.

The woman couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

She got so angry with her mother that she kicked her out of her home. She literally pushed her out the door and closed it. She then packed her things and threw them at her feet.

The woman threatened to call the police if she did not leave the property.

Her mother flew home and has tried contacting her, her husband, and her in-laws.

She even tried getting the woman’s dad to speak to her, and the woman’s brother called the woman ungrateful for kicking their mother out when she was only trying to help.

Although the woman is still very angry with her mom, she questions whether she was wrong for kicking her mother out of her home.

So she asked the Reddit community, and they were very much on her side.

“It is a VERY good thing it takes a plane for her to get to you,” said one person.

“Keep doing what you’re doing; it’s absolutely none of her concern.”

“She sounds horrible,” said another commenter.

“Good for you for protecting your boundaries and the boundaries of your sons.”

What do you think? Did the woman do the right thing by kicking her mother out of her house?
