A TikTok video recently showed a door-dash delivery driver arriving at a customer’s house and asking to speak to him face-to-face.
The video shared by user/Royal Tee starts with the woman arriving at the door and ringing the bell.
The man inside the house asks her to leave the food on the ground, but she’s got other plans.
She asks if she can speak to him face-to-face about his order.
Confused, the man asks why, as he doesn’t understand what on earth she’d need to speak to him about.
The woman explains that she wants to talk to him because she doesn’t think he realizes how far it’s coming from.
The man waits a few seconds before responding and says ‘where what is coming from?”
The woman replies, saying that she means the distance of how far away the food is coming from.
She continues, “Because if you did, you wouldn’t have given what you gave,” implying that the man gave her a small tip for the long drive.
She again asks to speak to the man face-to-face and says she drove for 40 minutes. Furthermore, she even got the food to him early,
she doesn’t think the guy realized where he ordered the food from
The guy, at this point, doesn’t understand what the woman wants.
When the woman asks him if he realizes how far away the restaurant is, the man says, “that’s a 15, 20-minute drive.”
The woman argues back, saying no, the drive was 12.5 miles, and it took her 40 minutes to get there.
She says, “I don’t think you realize how far it is.”
The man then asks the woman why she accepted the pick-up if she thought it was that far. He really doesn’t understand.
The woman explains that she’s done the trip now and thinks the man should adjust the tip to make it right.

The man asks how much the tip was, and when the woman responds, “8 dollars”, he almost bursts out laughing, “What are you looking for?”
The man cannot believe the audacity of this woman and clearly won’t be giving her a bigger tip.
At this point in the video, the woman grabs the food, says, “I’m going to bring the food back,” and leaves!
The man is stunned, and the video ends.
