A woman went on a trip with her friends to NYC, but when some unwanted guests showed up in their hotel room, she left her friends in the middle of the night. Here’s what she had to say:
They Visited New York
The woman went to Manhattan with her friend, Cee, to visit their mutual friend, Tu, during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. They had a great time on Friday and Saturday, but Saturday night’s events left the woman feeling uncomfortable.
Saturday Night Was Difficult
Due to bad weather, Ubers, and high heels, the three friends struggled to have a good night. “As we’re leaving the third spot, Cee finds a man standing by a store and starts making out with him in the corner. She’s my friend, and this is nothing new, so I go talk to his friend to keep him busy for maybe ten minutes,” she explained.
The Man Came Back
The woman continues, “Soon, the man comes back when I’m with Tu, and I tell him politely to leave me alone as I’m not interested, but he tried joking it off until he realized I’m serious and moved”.
Cee Returned
“When he turned to leave, he made his friend (who was with Cee) come with him, so Cee met back up with us. I told her I wasn’t interested in his friend, but Cee clearly wanted to sleep with him that night”, the woman recalled.
They Got Back to the Hotel at 5 A.M.
Cee invited the man to the room, but his friend was with him when he arrived. “I made it clear to all parties earlier that I don’t like that guy. He spends the next hour invading my personal space and not taking no for an answer, almost chasing me around my 8×8 hotel room where Tu was asleep,” she said.
She Decided To Sit in the Lobby
She dozed off on a chair and woke at 7:15 a.m., so she returned to her room and discovered the man she disliked waiting outside the door. He then apologized for his behavior.
She Went Into the Room
Inside the room, Cee and her friend were asleep in the bed while Tu slept on the edge, so the woman decided to pack her things and find another room. On her way out, she told the man, “When everyone wakes up, tell them I went home early because I don’t have a place to sleep.”
The Woman Left the Room
She left, and her friends started calling her around 8 a.m. She ignored 30 calls because she was too annoyed and wanted to calm down. However, when the NYPD contacted her, she couldn’t ignore them.
The Police Wanted To Know Where She Was
She explained the situation and mentioned that she had told someone in the room where she was going and that her friends were just being dramatic.
Did She Do the Right Thing?
Upon returning home, she found herself blocked on all platforms by Cee. “I thought she would have calmed down by now, but she still hasn’t. Part of me thinks she’s embarrassed, but another part wonders if I was in the wrong,” she said.
