TikTok user Bruna Conce (@bruna.conce) recently posted a viral contouring hack, and we can certainly understand why. In her video, Bruna showed her 900k followers how to use self-tanner to contour her face to achieve a chiseled jawline and plump lips.

A contour look that stays on for days, if not weeks!

Bruna says: “It’s all an illusion. I use spray tan to contour my so it’s snatched! Jawline on point, nose to the sky! Lips? Huge!

The video got thousands of comments such as “genius,” “I love this,” and “I’m shook”!

One commenter even noted: “This is like life’s best cheat code! Heading to Ulta now.”

If you want to try this hack yourself, here’s what Bruna says you should do:

Get a bottle of self-tanner and a medium-sized blending brush. Make two reasonably thick lines down each of your cheekbones, just like you would if contouring your face normally.

Ensure the lines are equally long and placed in the same position on each side.

Step two is to contour your forehead. Add self-tanner on the highest parts of your forehead, where your hairline begins. This will create the illusion of a smaller forehead and bring warmth and focus to the center of your face.

Don’t worry if you get self-tanner in your hair; it can easily be removed

Step three, apply self-tanner on the bottom of your left jawline, not on it. This is very important. Draw a line alongside the lower part of your jawline to make it look more prominent, and blend into your neck. Do the same for your right side.

Now, draw a thinner line of self-tanner down the front part of the lines on your cheekbones to give the illusion of a slimmer face.

Then the nose. Lightly move the brush onto each side of the nose, leaving the middle of your nose free from self-tanner. Adding product to the side of the nose will make it appear thinner. Also, dab a small amount of self-tanner just under the tip of your nose to make it stand out more.

For the eyes, add self-tanner just underneath both eyebrows, not on the eyelids themselves.

And for the final but crucial step, apply a line of self-tanner underneath the bottom lip. This will add depth and volume to your lips.

Then lightly blend the edges of all the lines. Don’t go overboard and blend your entire face. We still want to see structure but don’t want very sharp lines.
