He Didn’t Want His Friend And his Fiancée To Move In With Him, And Now They Are Forced To Live With Her Parents

This guy, who is 28, found himself in quite a predicament as he didn’t want his friend and fiancé to move in with him. The situation is this: The friend Tom, who is 29, and his fiancé Kat, who is 31, had been experiencing some financial issues and were now unable to pay rent.

Therefore, they needed to find new accommodation and believed they had two choices: The first was to move in with Kat’s parents, who live roughly two hours away, or move in with the guy until they found a new place to rent.

As it happens, Tom and Kat would rather move in with their friend as he lives alone in a big 3-bedroom house, so he has a lot of space that would suit the couple. Furthermore, Kat has dogs, and since there is a park nearby, she said she could take them for walks during the day.

The problem, however, is that the guy didn’t want Tom and his fiancé to move in with him as he really likes his own space.

“The idea of living with someone, let alone two people, does not sit well with me,” he says.

The guy uses one room as the bedroom, and the other two rooms are used as the library and a home office. He absolutely loves to come home and relax in the evening and feels that he can truly unwind when it’s just himself in the house.

He also says: “Living alone makes it easier to bring girls over.”

The guy broke the news to Tom and Kat, who got angry. They called the guy selfish for wanting to make sacrifices for them and basically told him that he was not a real friend.

The guy then tells it like it is: “I would be happy to help Tom. He works full-time and would respect my space. But I did not want Kat to live with me.”

Here’s the thing. Kat doesn’t work. So while Tom is at work all day, Kat would be at the house pretty much all the time. And remember the dogs? They are inside dogs, which means they would be in the house the entire time as well.

The guy also reveals that Tom has secretly complained about Kat as she doesn’t do anything around the house. Whenever Tom gets home from work, he has to do the cooking and most of the chores.

The guy said: “I told Kat, she’s lucky she is with someone who tolerates her and loves her, but I’m not like Tom. I’m not dealing with it.”

The guy ends his story by saying that Kat broke down in tears and called him evil.

Almost a year later, the guy finds out that Tom and Kat are still living with her parents, and he is beginning to feel a bit guilty. Although his own friends say he did the right thing, people close to Kat are saying that he is not a nice person and that he forced them to be in a situation that might ruin their relationship.

What do you think about the situation? Should the guy have let Tom and Kat stay at his house?
